Do all father's gain sympathy weight?
It looks like I managed to avoid Couvade syndrome. Our diets during pregnancy didn't change all that much except that she ate more calories to make sure she gained enough weight as she had a low BMI going into the pregnancy, and she switched to a diabetic diet about midway through the pregnancy since she developed gestational diabetes.
Other contributing factors are likely that my job has been stressful for the past year which usually causes me to undereat, and we sold our house and moved at the beginning of September, so I was extremely active during July, August, and September with all the yard updates, packing, etc.
